The Martin Home - Sebastopol, California

This was commissioned by two of my good friends, Jonah and Lindzie. I've known Jonah since I moved to Sonoma County. His wonderful girlfriend Lindzie, I met when they started dating a couple years back. The project came to life when they had an idea to give their good friends a wedding gift portraying this couples new home. The home is so special to this couple for so many reasons. The main reason they pointed out was that the husband was pivotal in the building process, which is not seen often. This made my job exciting and I was eager to create a beautiful architecturally sound ink drawing of their new home. The couple, Nicola and Collin, I've met on a handful of occasions. They are so kind, and sure to have a bright future both in this home and in their community.

This drawing took 30 hours to complete and the home is located in one of my favorite towns in California, Sebastopol.
