Towering Redwoods - Sebastopol, California

I was very excited to take on this commission for many reasons! The 2 redwoods on the right hand side command attention. Usually, clients ask their home to be the center of attention, but in this instance, the trees share the attention. I also loved the morning/afternoon light that brightens the left side of the house. This ink drawing casts more shadows than usual, making an authentic, cozy feel. I loved depicting this special home in ink. This was done with a 003, 005, and 08 Sakura Micron Black Pen, and took 30 hours to complete. It's for a good friend and hockey teammate, Jon.
